clueless
Okay I know this comes up a lot in these forums but this is the first time I have experienced the problem and i'm unsure how to rectify it.I'm downloading a 895MB file and i'm getting an 80% Hash Fail Rate. I've been looking through the logger and it seems that peers are getting banned constantly but it has no effect on the high rate of Hash Fails.Should I just discard the torrent or is there a way that I could perhaps work around this. At the moment after downloading more then 500MB of the file it says I only have 10% or 90MB of the overall torrent.
Firon
Could be a poisoned torrent.
Switeck
Or a D-Link router in "gaming" DMZ mode?
Firon
D-Link Download Destroyer generally doesn't cause this much damage DURING the torrent, and it'll only cause the same piece to never finish, not many more (the odds of there being more than one piece destroyed by its game mode in a torrent are low)
clueless
It's not the D-Link as I'm using a Belkin router. I'm gonna just discard the torrent and try elsewhere. Thanks for the replies.
