My speed the lowest is 0.3kB/sec!!! and the higest is 36kB/sec...My question is my sometimes the connection is good but sometimes is sooo bad???For information: i have no router, running under WindowsXP SP2 (firewall already turn off) and i failed to setup port so the lamp is in red.So anyone can help my problem?? I'm very thankful is someone can help me...
Ultima Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 portforward.com, make sure your modem isn't on the list. If not, then check your firewall.Don't bother telling us what you're downloading, please.
Firon Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 use the speed guide properly, forward your ports. That's all you can do.
ernaldiagoes Posted June 12, 2006 Author Report Posted June 12, 2006 Thank you for your reply but for your information i'm using wireless broadband and i dont have modem in here....thats why i dont know what to do....For your information my wireless reciever is Dlink (thats from my ISP, they lend it for me for free) and connected directly through my ethernet card using Smart Bridge by power shot. When i wanted to test port from speed guide in utorrent, it said that my IP under proxy and it can not test it...so i should go to portforward.com. After i go to portforward.com, i dont know what to do..because this site for people who had router/modem under firewall and i dont have it.... So what should i do...??Now i'm downloading with the connection speed 2.1kB/sec....My best speed was 30kB/sec.The 30kB/sec happen when the soccer between Holland and Serbia begin...;-)BTW: It has 36(599) Peers...what does it mean? from 36 peers only 4 peers active downloading with speed between 0.1kB/sec - 0.6kB.sec...why the 32 peers had no downloading speed? Many thanx
Firon Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 STOP TELLING US WHAT YOU'RE DOWNLOADING. Read the rules.Get a new non-wireless ISP, you're permanently NATed and will continue experiencing slow speeds until you do.
