LostCause1087
When i put utorrent on my desktop i had to configure a static ip so that i would be able to open a port (even though my router is configured to automatically assign ip addresses to the other computers on my network). I think there might've been something wrong with the upnp framework or something, i'm not really sure. Anyways, i just got a laptop and i'll be travelling around with it so i can't put a static ip on it or else i wont get a signal from unfamiliar routers. At least that's what i assume... Any suggestions? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Firon
You can't forward ports on routers you don't own.
LostCause1087
I know, but i guess what i was trying to ask is why can't i get my utorrent to automatically forward ports with upnp? It works perfectly for bitcomet, i never had to manually open a port or configure a static ip with it... (I am using windows xp by the way).
