callthereaper
Hello all, I currently am running windows 7 pro on a Technicolor TC8305C and the utorrent build of 37754 (32bit)though I do have a 64 bit system I don't think that will make a difference if I am mistaken then I will be sure to fix that. I have set up port forwarding for the modem in accordance with portforward.com and there software says the port is openhowever when I run the test provided for the connection it is saying the port is not open but can still download. Just curiousand want my double green checks if possible. On the same note does anyone know if it is possible to turn on the firewall for themodem to high settings and still allow torrenting because it seems it stops every time I try. DreadWingKnight
The portforward.com port checker runs locally to your computer and likely doesn't actually do tests from remote connection locations. And their software isn't that good either. Try http://www.canyouseeme.org/ to test the port.
callthereaper
http://www.canyouseeme.org/ is showing that it is open. Is it possible it is a bug with the current build of µtorrent?
DreadWingKnight
It's probably not a bug, just a situation where you don't have incoming connections yet.
