How to Create Torrent for My Private Video(s)?

I have several large videos that I created (I own all the copyright & content) that I want to share with certain people (friends and relatives).

 

I have never created a Torrent before but I use uTorrent almost exclusively - I love the program and it's easy to download many different files.

 

How do I create a torrent file for my video (for example 1 video that is say 5GB) and let others download it?

 

I don't want to be constrained by bandwith limits etc. so if I were to host the videos on my own NAS server (or just computer), how can I let others download the file(s)?

 

I am also very concerned about security and privacy - if I create a torrent for a file that is hosted on my computer, can someone downloading the file access my computer (ie hack into my computer)?

 

Please help me with this.

I have not tried it my selfe, but i would Guess it would work if you create a torrent (no tracker) of folder vith video/s, and then e-mail the torrent to the person. >And then bouth start up utorrent With DHT network enablet, then he would find you and the file. or mabe not hehe.
