sal
Yeah, we should brainstorm some ideas here. So I was wondering how µ was actually pronounced, is it 'you' or' mew' or 'moo', and does this mean uTorrent is phonetically called say 'moo-torrent'. Yep, I'm kind of dumb.I was thinking a cow (moo)...surprise surprise.
Alazorn
its micro-torrent
tjobo
I say you-torrent, beacuase it's the shortest and easiest way to pronounce it. Also µTorrent is often written as uTorent so you're actually reading u-torrent instead of mju-torrent.
Xilon
µ is pronounced "mew", so µTorrent should oficially be pronounced "mew-torrent". iirc µ is the symbol used for nano meters, which is symbolic to it's size. Here's an idea for an icon: Mew - The pokemon!! lmao

CainKellye
µ is the sign for the "micro-" prefix not the "nano-".The "nano-" prefix is η. (Greek small eta)µm is micrometer.µsec is microsec. µTorrent is microtorrent.(But I often read it "you"-Torrent, when I see "uTorrent" insted of "µTorrent"...) MechR
lol a red panda? All i see is a fox.Mozilla's kind of mixed about that... they said it's a name for the red panda, but they use the flaming fox imagery.Wikipedia says: "The Chinese word 火狐 (fire fox) can refer to the Red Fox or the Red Panda. The latter meaning was popularized by a mistaken comment on a web page of the Wellington Zoo (sometimes quoted as the Bristol Zoo) and later by the Mozilla Foundation."
