psycho2048
I'm running the latest beta build 464, and it randomly locks up my computer. The entire OS, can't even Ctrl-Alt-Delete or anything; except restarting. I'm connected via a DSL modem (without a router) and I am using NOD32 anti-virus and Lavasoft Firewall (correctly configured, of course).System Config: AMD Athlon X2 4400+ Dual-Core CPU, 512MB PC3200 RAM, 200GB HD, nVidia GeForce 7600GT. Everything has the latest drivers, no hardware conflicts, no problems. Is this happening because of some error in the beta version, or is it something else? I've used build 464 before without any problems though...
Ultima
Does it happen with previous versions? Have you tried uninstalling NOD32? If you installed a Windows Update recently, try repatching TCPIP.SYS again -- the problems caused by TCPIP.SYS seem to be getting weirder and weirder lately. psycho2048
it never happened with any previous version (or build 464 for that matter, until now)...as for NOD32, i've tried disabling it (removing from startup, services, etc)... but that doesnt solve the problem.. same goes for the lavasoft firewall...just checked TCPIP.sys and its set to the # of connections i've specifiedhopefully this issue will be solved in the next beta *crosses fingers*
Ultima
Disabling doesn't help. You have to uninstall it. If that doesn't help, revert to an older one (463) and see if it continues to happen.
