Tusk
Hi, I'm new here (obviously). I might as well use this thread as an intro also.Umm well, I live in New York and a utorrent user. I must say utorrent is the best bit-torrent client I ever used. I use to think bitcomet was the best, then azureus, that's until I discovered utorrent.Anyway, the question I have to ask is what does utorrent be downloading?. I mean like when I'm not uploading or downloading anything I see that utorrent is downloading/uploading something like in the speed indicator it will show 0.3kbps and it will say something like 7MB downloaded/ 10MB uploaded. When There hasnt been any-thing downloaded or uploaded since the application was opened.
Determination
usually the overhead for the DHT network. If you are concerned with it, disable DHT, and see if the problem goes away. DHT is alot of connections happening behind the scenes, and can adversely affect your network performance.
