Sib Posted May 7, 2015 Report Share Posted May 7, 2015 I have downloaded a few torrent without problems but tonight everytime I try and 'get this torrent' a pop-up tells me that 'a new version of u torrent is already running. Please shut down uTorrent and try again'??what does it mean? I am a total non-techy and cannot understand while this is happening, plus I am actually in the middle of a torrent download but cannot download any other?thank you! And have you just updated it recently?I have an issue with having two versions installed at the same time (see this thread) and that can give me the same error you have received. Perhaps try ending the uTorrent process in Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete), then do the same thing to get the new torrent you were doing before (but don't start uTorrent before hand) and see if it opens the same version of uTorrent.
