richms Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 I have had an issue cause about 400 .torrent files to basically disappear on me. Not sure what it was but they never made it into the backup anyway. So the thing is, they would have been kicked off from a magnet link, so is there any way to get utorrent to just go to the swarm and get the torrent file again? As it is at the moment I have been going thru, getting the hash, googling it, finding somewhere to download it from, renaming it to what utorrent wants and sticking it in the torrent folder manually. Talk about time consuming. So if there was a way to just get the missing .torrent file itself, that would be really really good.
DreadWingKnight Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 So you didn't check your torrent storage directory?
richms Posted May 11, 2015 Author Report Posted May 11, 2015 They are gone. Not sure what caused them to disappear but they are not there, not in recycle bin, not in the folder for completed torrents with the 1000s of others, Since not all of them are available for download I have even resorted to putting the magnet link into a second utorrent install to get them to download in cases where I couldnt find the .torrent to download.
