uTorrent 3.4.3 build 40298 Not Responding when I close it

Hi,

 

I have uTorrent 3.4.3 build 40298 Free on a laptop with Windows 8.1 64 bit (updates are all to day), a 100 Mbits Internet connection on TV cable and Bitdefender Free 64 bit. The laptop is with SSD, dual core processor and 4GB of RAM.

 

When I try to close (File > Exit) uTorrent it goes in a Not Responding state. And it stays in this state about 30 sec, than it closes. It's annoying.

I tested to see if it's the antivirus that causes the problem but it's not the case because I disabled it and even uninstalled it.

This problem with uTorrent Not Responding when I try to close it is even there when there are no torrents in the program.

 

There are no settings modified in uTorrent. I installed it and uninstalled it several times with the default settings.

 

This is a old problem. What I mean is that I had it even with older uTorrent 3 versions.

 

Until uTorrent is fixed I will stay with qBittorrent - a program that opens, closes, works very good. I could say that it's Notepad.
