Hi,

One torrent I'm running keeps giving me the message: Error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. (WriteToDisk)

I force it to start and it runs for 8 or 10 minutes and stops again.

I'm running utorrent 3.4.2 (build 34309) [32 bit].

I saw a previous thread with someone who had the same problem and he ran hijackthis, so I did that also (see below).

If anyone can advise me, thanks...i'm not too computer saavy...

Try with your auto-backup and/or antivirus temporarily disabled.

I disabled Avast and it worked, so I made an exception for utorrent and it's working OK now.

I've had Avast for years and it hadn't caused any torrenting problems so I didn't think that was the problem...
