bekarawr Posted June 1, 2015 Report Posted June 1, 2015 I'm obviously trying to download but it won't move past connecting to peers.I've tried reinstallingDeleting resume.datAnd started a download from slackware.com (which worked) uTorrent is working on my partners computer just not my laptop (both connected to the same network). It was just working yesterday and will download files that were already queued up just not new files that I add onto uTorrent. Both computers use Windows 7. uTorrent 3.4.3 (build 40298)ISP: Bigpond (Australia)I use AVG antivirus and just windows firewall which I am fairly certain aren't effecting uTorrent. I have no idea how to fix this problem. EDIT:Uninstalled AVG and reset winsock and still stuck at connecting to peers.
DreadWingKnight Posted June 1, 2015 Report Posted June 1, 2015 Tried with AVG temporarily uninstalled? Tried resetting winsock?
Brandy Down Under Posted June 1, 2015 Report Posted June 1, 2015 There are only two peers listed by one of the trackers. Everything else is zero. The odds of you getting anything worthwhile out of this torrent are slim. If you started with a magnet, uTorrent will first need to connect to some peers to download the metadata. If those peers are also in that state, all of you will continue to be stuck "Connecting to Peers". If you're lucky, a part-time seeder will appear and get you going. If that never occurs, that torrent is essentially dead Been there....
