Cheeto Posted October 19, 2005 Report Share Posted October 19, 2005 My typical manner of BTing is grabbing a torrent from a site and saving it to a specified folder. Then I manually load the file into the client. When it is done seeding, I do remove and -> delete torrent file. However I've noticed in utorrent, this doesn't work. Any suggestions? chaosblade Posted October 19, 2005 Report Share Posted October 19, 2005 µTorrent makes a copy of each torrent loaded into it and saves it at its data folder, %appdata%uTorrent (Start -> Run -> Enter that and see).Deleting the torrent simply deletes that copy (which is needed to maintain the list), not the source torrent.
