che1x
I installed the newest version a couple months ago. As soon as I ran it, my internet connection slowed and stopped. I called my ISP and they sent me a new modem. Meanwhile I went into network and sharing and selected repair. My internet connection starting working again. Then I started uTorrent and my connection slowed and stopped again. After several iteration of this I removed the new version and opened an older version. That worked. Then I did a fresh install of the new version and again my internet connection stopped. After that I removed the new version and continued to use the old version. However, now my add new torrent screen only shows the size and nothing else. Any idea what is going on with these problems? I am using version 2.2 now. It seems I downloaded the new version on May 10 if that helps.
DreadWingKnight
Most people with these problems have bad routers, bad router settings or other internet security software being stupid. The use of old versions is also not supported.

PiusX
Since I don't know much about messing with security settings and I only have a DSL modem connected directly with an Ethernet cable, my only option is to use an old version.Put this way I know when you use Torrent your DSL will slow down as it will take much bandwidth that you give it to use unless you restrict the bandwidth usage and all your other internet usage will slow done. If you want more bandwidth you will have to go to FIBER to get more bandwidth otherwise you will have to shut off torrent to do regular internet browsing. That is the choice you have to make torrent and no internet usage or no torrent and internet usage-these are your choices.
