ethanhunt202
Hello guys,I have uTorrent set to startup on my user account, but how do i set it up so that when others users logon to my PC uTorrent starts and downloads the same files from my user account. At present when it starts up on another user account, it's like it's been freshly installed...asking for connection speeds and no torrent in the main window.Any help would be most appreciatedCheers GuysLee W
Alpha-Toxic
i think moving everything from the%appdata%\uTorrent(put that, with the %%, in windows explorer) folder to the folder where uTorrent.exe is (Program Files?) should do the trickThe folder where uTorrent.exe is has priority and uT uses %appdata% only if the other is empty. And of course every user has his own %appdata%, hence uT thinking it's a fresh install.
Lord Alderaan
Simple steps:1) Start Menu -=> Run -=> %appdata%\utorrentIn the folder select all. Press Ctrl+X (or use any other means to cut the selected files).2) Start Menu -=> Run -=> c:\Program Files\utorrentIn the folder press Ctrl+V (or use any other means to paste the cut files). If you get an error telling you the folder doesn't exist at step 2 do the following instead:Look for utorrent in the start menu and right mouse button click on it. Choose properties. In the properties window press Find Target....In the folder press Ctrl+V (or use any other means to paste the cut files). This will make µtorrent use the same settings for all users.P.S. Of course µtorrent shouldn't be running when you do this.
