Strange Error Message!!Help!!

Hi I am new to this forum and any version of uTorrent i run keeps freezing up(standalone to installation, 1.7 to 1.6)

I keep getting this error message:

It seems like uTorrent is already running, but not responding. Please close all uTorrent processes and try again.

The weird part is that sometimes it works without explanation and then just crashes without warning.

Help Please!

everytime I try to open something I downloaded I get this error: Error -2048 : the file is not a movie file. This is driving me crazy.

If its crashing then are you getting a crash dump?

no. I only get that message. Note: I have successfully downloaded several torrents before it started acting up. Could there be a program conflict with registry mechanic randomly deleting something it thinks is wrong?

Get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, File > Save, then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here.
