uTorrent running but not responding message

Message: It seems like uTorrent is already running, but not responding

Version: uTorrent 1.7 RC 2

Windows: Vista 64 Ultimate

Happens: on every startup of windows

Effects: nothing, uTorrent is running fine.

Result: me annoyed by useless message box, that is saying something that is not true.

Check msconfig to see if there are two startup entries for µTorrent.

Yes apparently there are two entry's, so i disabled one.

msconfig, does not however tell me where these entry's are. They must both be in the registry, and both made by uTorrent.

Grab Autoruns from sysinternals.com, and it should tell you.

Were you running 1.6.1 (or older) before upgrading to 1.7 while under Vista?

That's probably why then. The devs made use of Unicode more consistently in 1.7, so the startup entry's name was also changed into the Unicode form µ instead of the simple u. Disabling the old one (utorrent) should be enough.
