Alexander_Q
I had to reformat today, so before doing so, I backed up the folder "utorrent" in the directory "Application Data". After reformatting and reinstalling my operating system, I installed utorrent 1.77. I then deleted the folder utorrent from the Application Data directory, and pasted my backup in its place. When I ran uTorrent, I expected it to restore all of my previous settings and torrents, but instead it has remained as default with 0 torrents. Can anyone tell me what has gone wrong? jewelisheaven
Did your backup have data in it? Did you choose the correct folder? What OS? How large is the resume.dat? Open it with http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306 and what do you see?
Alexander_Q
Excellent! That program did the trick. I opened resume.dat, deleted the fileguard hash and then no problem. Thanks very much for your help. May your beer be half price.
