CPU going to 100% when deleting torrent and data.

When i choose to remove .torrent + data uTorrent freezes and when it wakes up it uses 100% cpu for a bit.

I use Comodo Firewall and Eset Nod32 Antivirus.

I got a Intel Q6600 CPU with a ASUS P5K Pro + 2x2GB.

Anyone got any ideas?

Well, check the options in the remove icon in the toolbar... are you deleting to trash or bypassing trash?

When i delete a large torrent to Trash uTorrent freeze and go up to 100%. I use the latest build 12549.

Whatever this is, it's the most likely culprit.

ESET's security software also makes the "problem child" list.

But i disabled nod32 and still got the problem. Do i need to uninstall it?

You may, depending on how deep the hooks are.

Do you know what guard32.dll is associated with?

guard32.dll is a module of Comodo Firewall.

So it's weird Comodo is the issue...

It's a BAD idea to have 2 software firewalls installed at once.

Make sure the AV firewall is removed completely...

I only got one SW-Firewall (Comodo). NOD32 is just Antivirus.

Uninstalled.

With NOD32: Utorrent goes to 40-50% CPU and nod32 about 20%

Without NOD32: Utorrent still goes to 40-50% CPU

That at least narrows down the possible causes...unfortunately I don't know what else to try atm.
