Stone-D
As per the subject, is it possible for the OSX and windows clients to share the same datafiles? If not, how do I go about building a cider wrap for the windows client? As you might have guessed, I'm very a much a noob when it comes to OSX and I'm trying it out this way before plonking down two grand on a real mac. geekyone
It would be possible, if the files are on a partition that can be read by both windows and mac. I would not suggest downloading on both, because you will have to constantly force re-check on both. Your ratios will also not be correct. To do this, simply put the files on a hard drive that can be read by both windows and mac. Then, open the torrent and locate the files with the client. Because the Mac client currently does not support choosing where to save a file, you will have to open the preferences, and choose the default save location as the folder where you have the torrents you downloaded.
