SarKast
Is it possible to move uTorrent & all down/uploads from one computer to another and how? What to do?
Ultima
Move µTorrent over to the new computer. Move all the files in %appdata%\utorrent over to the new computer. Move all the files over to the new computer (preferably with the same path as on the original computer). Open µTorrent. If you couldn't move the files to the same path (different drive letter, etc), then right click each torrent job and "Set download location..." SarKast
That's what I did in the first place, but my new machine starts uTorrent as fresh installed, without any up- or downloads. I thought, maybe there's a catch with some *.ini or other files, outside the Application Data folder???All other files are with the same path like on my old computer. Would hate to loose ca. 8GB of half-downloaded materials, cause I got to sell the old machine in a few days... Cloning the entire drive is out of the question, cause there's already too much new stuff on the new HDD.
Firon
Just move the data and re-add the torrents.
