totmacher Posted April 10, 2006 Report Share Posted April 10, 2006 This problem irked me for quite a while.I would get decent speeds, however i would get no incomming connections, and the ports were forwarded properly.The network status always showed red. The resolution to this problem was 'Enable Fragmented Packets' on the ipfw rule.Also noticed, because the packets are properly allowed through, that the throughput speeds went up by about 30%I hope this helps someone.Totmacher Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However, the light testing i did with ftp, and the testing i did with httpd seem to work on other forwards, hell, my ssh is working fine. just seemed to effect BT.within 5 seconds of me enable frag packets my network light in µtorrent went from red to green.
