I have a clean windows install now, and no multiple instances from FireFox. I think the problem sould be around the torrent associations. (Perhaps Windows thinks utorrent hasn't been already started, and starts a new one, because of an old program name in the associations table.)

Hmm...could be. But as already stated, reverting to 1.2.2 fixes this, and if the problem lies within Windows then all version should be affected. I've even tried deleting the asociation, run uT and redo the association, but still a no go.

Still have multiple instances when opening from Maxthon, IE and saved torrent. I guess I'll keep waiting.

I'm using Maxthon too, only in my case uT is associated with .torrent and the torrent association button is greyed out. Hope this gets fixed.

Strange...you guys had BSOD but no multiple instances, we (maybe not all but at least me) have multiple instances bug but no BSOD. Anyone have both?

I seem to be able to open multiple instances of the client, by clicking on the executive file or a torrent file that prompt the add torrent window. The only way to add torrent without opening another instance is either draging torrent files into the actuall utorrent window or using the add torrent function.

Confirmed. I'm having this problem too. Beta-356 works fine.
