Actually I did try the latest version at the time but there were issues like freezing (IIRC that was at the time added torrent filter was introduced) and too much space between lines in the torrent list. Both issues are gone in the latest releases. I do have customized the UI with the classic 2x toolbar, status and tabs icons. As well as restoring percent done. I wish I could link to all the resources I used at the time; I searched the forum but with no luck (so far). I know there were some guides about it...
