Ultima
My point is that that's ALL µTorrent modifies, other than stuff you tell it to do in the Preferences (torrent association and startup entry). Do you have any other incompatible software? What security softwares? What port is open for GunZ, and is it different from the port for µTorrent? Ultima
Hm, if this happens after you run GunZ, then it sounds like GunZ is screwing around with something... or am I missing something fundamental in your posts? Ultima
It's worth a try, I guess, but I doubt DHT and UPnP can prevent µTorrent from opening. Are you sure it's not your modem, router, or network card that's crapping out?

Ultima
I can imagine it, actually. Network card drivers can be problematic, for example. Other people have had issues with µTorrent when having UPnP enabled due to the fact that their router does not support the UPnP implementation in µTorrent. And yeah, if it's happening before you even attempted to try µTorrent, then the problem definitely does not to µTorrent =T
