one or more activex controls could not be displayed

I can vouch for that. Running same OS and client, also getting it. No other utorrent client does it. It's due to the ads running on the left pane. Here's the message in full:

Web Browser

One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:

1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or

2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls.

As a result, the page might not display correctly.

here I fixed the error - all I care about is

- that torrents download

- I don't have to click a button each time I switch to the utorrent window

thus I changed all of these values and one of them worked...

gui.enable_comments = false

gui.enable_ratings = false

gui.report_problems = false

gui.show_devices = false

gui.show_notorrents_node = false

gui.show_upsell = false

ipfilter.enable = false

offers.left_rail_offer_enabled = false

offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled = false

rss.feed_as_default_label = false

rss.smart_repack_filter = false

sys.enable_wine_hacks = false

I used to click on the ads, so probably in utorrent's best interest to actually fix the problem...

win7 x64
