  1. Yup, this is 3.2.2

I'm also happy that the uTorrent team is coming out with constant bug fixes for new builds instead of adding useless new features (bloat) that nobody needs or uses. Shows that they are willing to listen to users feedback. :)

  2. New build but still the same old "We're not going to post the changelog because we don't want to" attitude which is horrible. People complain about that and yet it continues. Guess their attitude is just a huge F***k you to all of us.

Do you find it irritating that they haven't updated the thread title to 27825?

    Good luck sleeping tonight

I don't care about the thread title, what I care about is knowing what was added/removed or otherwise changed in the new build of a software I use on a daily basis. Only thing I find irritating is your childish and immature attitude on the forums. Good luck in life.

  3. Are you guys serious? Still shows this release as RC instead of stable on the forums... is it really hard to update the thread title? Not professional at all... and on top of that, the current stable version shows 3.2 build 27568 on the downloads page... but in this thread, the current version is build 27547... mind updating the thread showing us those changes as well? How hard is it to keep the threads updated to let us all know the changes/fixes in the current build? Would have thought you guys would've learned your lesson after people complained about the lack of communication... makes me wonder if uTorrent is the right choice anymore.

  4. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Using the latest uTorrent 3.0 and I download consistently at 3MB/s. All I did was disable Windows caching of disk writes and disable Windows caching of disk reads, which I recommend everyone to do if you haven't already.

  5. I've never changed diskio.use_partfile to false in uTorrent 3.0. I also never had a disk overload issue on any of the uTorrent versions since I started using the program. Don't know what the problem is on some people's computer. You should try using version 3.0 of uTorrent and see if you still have that problem.

  6. People who complain about constant bug fixes and updates to uTorrent need to lose their posting privileges. :D

Seriously though, you should all be thankful they are getting bug fixes out really quick instead of waiting weeks or months to patch things up. Keep the updates/fixes coming, don't listen to the negative people. People are always afraid of change and same thing happened when FireFox started releasing new versions of their browser every 6 weeks compared to every few months or so... and now people are used to it and they get new features and fixes out a lot quicker thanks to Google Chrome starting the trend. :)

  7. He WAS complaining and so were you. The fact that you are being overly defensive makes it seem even more so. Don't know why you are trying to deny something you did say. If I said, "This noise is bothersome to me, I hope it quiets down soon." That's a complaint on my part. So once again, you did have a complaint, but you have the right to do so. You also did say you want the updates to go back to "every 2-3 weeks" which means you don't want uTorrent to be updated daily/frequently. Those are your words, not mine.. you don't have to try to hide or lie about it. You have the right to say/complain about anything you want just like I have the right to tell people that they don't have to complain about the frequent updates. I even gave you a solution: Turn off automatic updates. That will solve your "bothersome" problem.

Firon, users for the most part appreciate quick fixes/updates to a client we use on a daily basis. It means the team is working hard and trying to make the best client possible and trying to make it as polished as possible. I would much rather have fixes daily because that will address problems fast and avoid any problems on private trackers or other websites. Thank you again. :D

  8. He was replying to the same guy you were.

    Exactly.

And ButterGun, the guy I responded to was obviously not liking the daily updates so he had a complaint about it. And now that you did mention it, I believe you also had a complaint. You said updating everytime you opened up uTorrent was getting "bothersome" which means it bothered you. People who aren't "bothered" by the daily/frequent updates wouldn't post about it in the forums saying they hope the updates go back to "2-3 weeks." These guys don't get enough thanks from us users, all they see is complaint after complaint.. the client being updated/fixed should not be one of those things users complain about. Like I said earlier, if you don't like the frequent updates you can always disable the automatic updates or switch to a less maintained client that doesn't fix bugs quickly.

  9. You're complaining about bug fixes/updates to a torrent client? If you don't like fixes being pushed out, switch to a client that updates every few months and doesn't fix bugs quickly. I for one am glad all these fixes/updates are coming out. It only takes a few seconds to get updates.. you can always turn off automatic updates if you don't want to see the notice. Thanks for fixing/updating uTorrent on a frequent basis. :)

  10. I see.. will wait for a detailed change of the advanced settings for 3.1.2 before I upgrade then. Thanks for the thread.

Don't understand why the devs wouldn't post all additions/subtractions to the advanced settings in the changelogs with each new build/version change in the first place... just seems like the ideal thing to do.

  11. Ok good idea, will do. Also, have any settings changed for this release compared to the 3.0 version? Like the advanced settings and all that, I ask because I used your 'settings.dat' from your thread and was just wondering if there is a thread or post highlighting the main additions/subtractions from the advanced settings area.

  12. utorrent 3.x and up has started getting banned on a lot trackers and therefore can't use the client.

Due to a serious bug in uTorrent 3.1 that causes it not to ban peers sending bad data' date=' we have been forced to remove it from our client whitelist. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

That's what the site I use utorrent on had posted in their forum, any way you guys can quickly fix this bug so it can be used on the sites again because if not then a majority of people will be forced to go back to 2.2.1 and not update to the newer versions of utorrent if it can't be used with a majority of sites.[/quote']

We're aware of it and will fix it. We'll probably bump the version # to make it easier for trackers to distinguish.

    Great, thanks a lot. :)
