uTorrent already installed (newer)

Have seen a number of these but never a resolution.  Recently I restarted my uTorrent.  Have it running with the webui and it runs on a server so rarely restart it.  Occasionally after a reboot it doesn't come up.  Had this once before.  Not sure what the resolution was however I'm getting:

 

"A newer version of uTorrent, 3.4.5 build 41865 is already installed.  Would you like to downgrade to 3.4.5 build 41712?".  Essentially this is running as a scheduled task so is hanging up the startup as it's waiting for a response.  Note as far as I can tell I have all references to upgrades, and checking for upgrades disabled.

 

Note I've scanned my entire drive and other than the executable in my downloads folder, the only installed version is in my appdata\roaming\uTorrent folder.

 

Any idea how to get around this?  It's hanging the startup.

EDIT:  Should be noted as far as I can see only 41712 is installed on this computer.
