spoook
Sorry folks for asking you something about an obsolete OS. After many months of not using it, this morning I launched utorrents. Unfortunately it crashed all the time. I therefore unistalled and installed ex novo (Version 1.8.7 (42515)). Everything is ok. Next step, importing the blocklist from iblocklist.com/lists . I remembered how to make the preference/advanced option visible (command option comma) and I checked "ipfilter enable" to be set on TRUE. I then copied the blocklist file (renamed as ipfilter.dat) onto library/appsupp/utorrents/ After restarting utorrents, I checked for the blocklist "icon", but couldn't find any. I can remember it was easily visible in the preference box. I then checked inside the "message log" --> Loaded ipfilter.dat (1 entries) why is that? guess I forgot some steps thanks UPDATE Just retrieved from an old topic a link (http://goo.gl/QdeOo) whose .txt seems to work ---> Loaded ipfilter.dat (227847 entries)) By comparing their content, what is different is the textual format. Dunno if this is the reason the above link redirect to http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=bt_level1&fileformat=dat&archiveformat=gz more info Safe http://149.56.111.86/files/uqkvaveimpgaqkimegtb/ydxerpxkpcfqjaybcssw.gz more info Saf therefore it should be always up to date
