edmond.sze
After enabling the check box for uTorrent Remote and clicking in the Sign in... button, the app crashes. I've tried uninstalling, clearing trash and reinstalling, did not solve the problem. Please help. uTorrent 1.8.7 MacOS 10.13.

jimmyplaysdrums
I'm having the same issue. Running uTorrent version 1.8.7 (43796) and MacOS 10.3.3. As soon as I try to sign in (in preferences) to enable and start up the remote the entire app crashes.

Peeeekay
Found a solution that worked for me Uninstall utorrent 1.8.5 install utorrent 1.6.5 set up remote (may not see window but you can still access preferences) Uninstall utorrent 1.6.5 Install utorrent 1.8.5 I needed to set up my remote so I could add an RSS feed so this solution worked for me. This worked for me too! Instead of uninstalling though I moved uTorrent 1.8.7 to the trash. Added uTorrent 1.6.5 to Applications folder and set up the remote settings. Then I renamed that app uTorrent 1.6.5 and put the newer uTorrent 1.8.7 back into Applications from the trash. I opened 1.8.7 and the remote settings are all set now! Thanks!
