oldguy7547
I hope someone can answer this ... my download speed is great quite often over 120KB/s, my problem is upload or seeding speed. I can not get it to go over 40 total. I have the upload cap set to unlimited but it still does not go higher than 40. Any thoughts???
Ultima
Go to the Speed Guide, take the speed test, and tell us what connection you have. Make sure you are not using the Internet connection for any other reason besides testing, when you are testing.
oldguy7547
The results of my speed test was the following...dslreports.com speed test result on 2006-08-18 12:34:54 EST:1430 / 364Your download speed : 1430 kbps or 178.7 KB/sec.That is 61.6% worse than an average user on verizon.netYour upload speed : 364 kbps or 45.5 KB/sec.That is 57.5% worse than an average user on verizon.netI am guessing it is bad because I am going through a wireless router but how do I increase my upload speed? Ultima
~40 is all you should be getting up to, and in fact, you shouldn't even set it that high with your connection. Select xx/384k and don't mess around with the upload speed limit -- 35KiB/s is the highest µTorrent should be allowed to go, otherwise it might cause problems for your speeds overall, both download and upload.
