Think of it as a torrent file extractor, which allows you to play the files without downloading any apps or software. When using µTorrent Lite to stream torrents, no files are downloaded to a folder on your iPhone. Instead, the site uses your device’s browser memory to assemble each piece of the file to enable it to play smoothly. 

 

To stream torrents on your iPhone, first, you will need to find a .torrent file or a magnet link for the torrent you are looking for. From there, you can leverage https://www.utorrent.com/lite/ to stream it, all without needing a torrent iOS app. To begin, simply follow these steps: 

 

Step 1: Launch Safari or Chrome browser on your iPhone.

 

           

Step 2: Find the torrent that you are looking for and locate the .torrent file or the torrent magnet link. You can begin a search from https://www.utorrent.com/lite/. Just enter the search terms for the torrent you want to find, and Google will help you find sources (websites) that host the .torrent file or the magnet link. While this may require some practice, below are some helpful tips on what to do next once you have found it:

 

For .torrent files

For magnet links

Next, navigate to https://www.utorrent.com/lite/ and tap into the open field to paste the magnet link, then tap ‘Go’.
