john.chen Posted March 28 Report Share Posted March 28 If you are a BitTorrent/µTorrent Web user, you can now share torrents with friends or family to stream online using our new torrent streaming site, µTorrent Lite. It’s a great way to share torrents with other people who don’t want to install applications or who have no experience in the world of torrenting. Your friends only need to have a strong Internet connection and Chrome, Edge or Safari browser to be able to open torrent files. Please note that in order for your friends to be able to stream torrents you have shared, they must be for playable media, such as video or audio-based torrent files. To get started sharing torrents with friends to play on µTorrent Lite, simply follow these steps: Step 1: Download a torrent using BitTorrent/µTorrent Web. Step 2: Click to select the torrent in the player view, or the torrent list view, then click the ‘Share’ icon. Please note that only a single torrent can be shared at a time. Step 3: Click to copy the message and the link to your clipboard. Step 4: Paste the message into an email or instant message and send it to a friend or family member. Step 5: When your friends click on the link, it will open and play on our torrent streaming site, https://www.utorrent.com/lite/. It’s that simple! µTorrent Lite is a great way to share with friends and family to open torrent files to play on desktop PCs, Chromebooks, Macs, iPads, Android devices and more.
