jsnepo
I'm puzzled. I'm trying to download something from the internet. Got 2 seeds but only one is connected (Why is that?). I was able to follow the guide and everything except for the part where it says UPnP since I'm using Windows 2000 Pro SP4 (afaik, UPnP is not supported).Anyway, the download speed fluctuates constantly from 0.1KBps to 31KBps and back. The network status icon also changes from yellow to green then to yellow again. This happens a lot. I tried to download slackware by using the link on the guide and I'm getting very good speeds. This has never happened before with the same torrent even with one seeder. I'm already at 67%.My question is, how can I make it stable?
Ultima
What is your upload limit set to, and what is your connection's maximum upload speed?
jsnepo
My upload limit is 17KBps. When I tested my bandwidth from DSLreports, it keeps on saying that I have an upload bandwidth of 163 to 203 Kbps. Also, I got a maximum download speed of 52KBps when I try to download Slackware. Ultima
Have you selected xx/192k in the Speed Guide?
jsnepo
I did. Like I said I have followed all the instructions in the speed guide except UPnP since I'm using Windows 2000 Professional SP4.Also on the same torrent, I was able to get a download speed of 42KBps unfortunately, it fluctuated again. Ultima
Is this only happneing with this torrent, or with every torrent (besides the Slackware)? If it's only that one torrent, then the problem lies with the swarm.
jsnepo
Yeah. This only happens with this torrent. Oh well, I'm at 96% anyway.
