Ouroboros Posted September 12, 2006 Report Share Posted September 12, 2006 I am having a wierd problem. All of sudden, whenever uTorrent runs, my internet connection shuts down. But not completely. uTorrent still downloads, at greatly reduced speeds, but I can't surf, check e-mail on Outlook, connect to any sort of server with any sort of program. Nothing has changed regarding my system, and there was no previous problems. As soon as I shut down uTorrent, my internet connection is back like normal. Full access, no slow page loads, nothing. Also I have noticed that when uTorrent is running, there is very few DHT nodes available. Not sure if this is a symtom or part of the problem. It's really wierd and driving me nuts. I'm not sure what exactly the problem was, but it seems that simply turning off my router and restarting it did the trick. Hadn't thought of that yet.
