No text in many screens

I've just installed uTorrent 1.6 on a windows XP and a Windows 2003 Small Business Server. On both machines I have the following problem:

There is (almost) no text in dialogs and other screens, like the preferences.

As you can see: there IS text in the main screen, but not in the preferences and other dialogs (that also goes for all subscreens in the preferences)

I've already tried to change the language but that didn't make any difference. I also started to question the fonts installed on my machine, so I reinstalled the fonts. That didn't work either, so I installed uTorrent to another machine (Windows 2003 Small Business Server instead of XP), but with the same problem.

Any ideas?
