tobi
Hi,I have searched these forums with different strings (uft-8, encoding torrents) but nobody seems to have my problem. An torrent from 2 trackers is the same, but these Umlaute are encoded / displayed wrong, as you see above:As it should be (from tracker no1):As it is (from tracker no2):Want to seed the file on another tracker, but those files with the Umlaute are not identified.Would be nice if somebody can held me to explain / solve the problem.tobi
TheBear
Is it possible that the tracker without the umlaute has had a torrent uploaded that didn't have them to start with?
Ultima
WHERE exactly are those characters...? URL? Description? File name? Where? Are you even sure it's a UTF-8 encoded torrent?
tobi
I'm a fs-newbie, so I'm shure of nothing I know (via google), that my client µTorrent 1.6 is able to work with UTF-8 or Unicode-Files.Where I can verify the way my torrent is encoded? The Problems are only in the Filenames, who are listed under "Files" (well, I had no Umlaute in other places (URL and so on) so I don't know if this would work ...)
