lacy Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 Ultima,Thanks for the link - but I am still having problems.Moved the Downloading and Completed utorrent folders from C to E and changed preferences and worked OK. But then I moved the .torrent folder (in Application Data - yes silly idea come to think about it!) also to the E drive. Unsurprisingly didn't work. So I reinstalled utorrent and now I have two utorrent folders - one with the '.torrent' files in and the other with '.torrent.loaded' files.Despite whatever changes I make to the Location and Storage preferences I can get the 'Error: Can't open .torrent file'Any ideas as to how I can recover the files I had partially downloaded?
