kombucha Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 I just installed Vista to a drive uTorrent isn't on, and left XP also on a drive uTorrent isn't on. Even so, when I ran uTorrent from within Vista, it acted like I had never used it before (as are most of my programs, as can be expected and I am working on it...). I set it up basically, but my torrents-in-progress are missing, and even when I set the incomplete folder to where the incomplete torrents were, nothing happens. If I restart the torrent, I'm afraid it'll start from scratch again. Any ideas? If you know how to fix the overlaying problem as well, by all means, let me know. Thanks!
Lionhearted Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Your uTorrent settings and/or torrents are presumably in your X:\Documents and Settings\ folder and uTorrent doesn't see this folder when you're using Vista, since you have a new Documents and Settings folder. So you will need to copy your uTorrent settings/torrents from your XP drive to the appropriate user folder on your Vista drive, which is probably something like X:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\
