nikhilthemidget
Everytime I try to use uTorrent (or any other program, like Azureus, for example), I keep getting an error that says 'cannot get local socket'. It is very annoying, since it causes uTorrrent to freeze until I press the OK button, and it pops up again immediately after I press it. That means that in order for me to complete a download, I have to keep pressing the OK button over and over in order for data to actually stream in.At first I thought it was a problem created by my firewall (I use Symantec), so I opened up some ports and that kind of stuff, but the problem just doesn't seem to go away. It even occurs when I disable my firewall. Any ideas as to what I should do?Thanks...
Ultima
Get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, File > SaveCopy and paste the process list in the .txt file that you save from there. You might want to uninstall Symantec's softwares to be sure they're not influencing anything, as disabling is not enough.
