Can't download anymore

I am having a strange problem. I am running XP and Firefox. I can download using my profile in XP. my wife used to be able to download on her profile too, but she can't any more. When she clicks on a torrent to download, it opens up the box asking if she wants to "open with utorrent" or "save to disk" just like it does with my profile. the problem is after you click "open with utorrent" it opens another web page (that remains blank) then it opens up the box asking if she wants to "open with utorrent" or "save to disk" again. It continues to do this over and over and never links the file back to utorrent to download.

It doesn't matter if the program is open or closed on my profile. I have made it so the program on her profile uses a different forwarded port then on mine and opened the port and still the same problem.

Any ideas?

Preferences > General > Associate with .torrent files
