pc0019
I keep getting this message in device manager:TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.I followed the link for help, and following the instructions tracked down the program: utorrent. atm I am downloading at 220kBps, so all seems fine. 'The TCP/IP stack in Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed limits the number of concurrent, incomplete outbound TCP connection attempts.'Apparently this is for security. Should I turn it off? (is that possible)?ThanksPC
Ultima
It's not possible to turn it off, though it is possible to increase the threshold limit before Windows starts complaining using lvllord's EventID 4226 patch. For most people, a limit of 50 is more than sufficient (the default in Windows XP SP2 is 10).
