jjmartin
I successfully moved Utorrent using Laplink PCMover to my new pc.But the external drive that I keep completed torrents on has a new letter on the new computer: M drive. (Old was H drive).I cannot rename the drive because H is already in use on the new computer as a dvd drive. Can anyone tell me how to fix the error message in Utorrent that the path H...etc is incorrect, so that I can get the seeding torrents back to active status.Thank you very much.jjmartin
Ultima
Make a backup of your resume.dat file, and um... Assuming the entire path (besides the drive letter) is the same for all the torrents you're trying to download, try editing resume.dat with a hex editor and simply changing all instances of H:\ to M:\
jjmartin
I searched my computer for " resume.dat" and only result was "resume.dat.old", which Windows did not recognize and could not open. Also, I do not know what a hex editor is.I am sorry for the trouble, but I am an intermediate computer user.Thanksjjmartin
Ultima
http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#What_is_AppData.3Fresume.dat is located there. Dunno about hex editors, but I guess you can always try tiny hexer or something.
