dataport
Just a tip to other dummies like me. Tried for over a week to get my Linksys wireless router to allow port-forwarding - to no avail (tried literally everything).Well..it wasn't my router...I had my Vonage adapter (Motorola VT1005) connected between my cable modem and router - choking my bandwith and preventing any ports to be forwarded.I took it out and connected to one of the IP ports directly into the router - and VOILA everything came up roses. Port got forwarded - and I'm now get 150K downloads.So...for anyone who has Vonage (or whoever) connected to their modem - get it out of there and start seeing some lightning speeds. Ultima
That's assuming they don't need the router to use Vonage... Otherwise, extra port forwarding is in order.
