nk33
I used to use kazaa to search for one off songs etc, but I have found I recently can't seem to get it to connect. I have tried limewire but the problem I have is that if I want a particular song it brings me all the songs with any of the words I have entered into my search. How do I do a search on limewire for every word I enter to appear in the file?
TheBear
Check the help file of Limewire for something called boolean search.Follow the instructions (if any).
Switeck
If searching on Limewire (Gnutella), you need a very good hostile ip filter to eliminate some of the spammers. Even that won't help against many of the hostile method used there. Even the designers are nearly clueless and helpless to fight the hostiles destroying that network. nk33
I tried searching for how to do a boolean search but no luck. Has anyone got Limewire who knows how to do such a search?
TheBear
Does Limewire not have a user forum where you might have better luck with this question?
nk33
I have tried but no one answers my questions on there.
Switeck
Common words are no good for searching on Gnutella due to the nature of its "OR-only" search methods. (Limewire *may* have an "AND" search method, but most others don't support it.)
