Error! Port xxx does not appear to be open.

Hi all,

I used port number 64858. I'm 100% sure that the port foward at the router side is working. As my friend's pc also have the same configuration and it's working.

I disabled all the firewall inside my pc and follow the configuration of my friends pc (his pc can run more than 100kbps download speed! and always get the Green Tick during the port test -_-!), but i still get the Error message.

I had BitComet installed previously, could it be the cause of the problem?

Please help!

1. Singapore ISPs are known to throttle BitTorrent, yours included.

2. You appear to be behind some kind of cache or proxy... that might also affect the port checking.

I'm not sure what to say about your friend being able to get it working, but you being unable. All I know is, your ISP is documented as an "offender."
