Jinx Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 I've been able to get WebUI working (minus right-click functionality) on my school's Macs via a Cross-Platform Firefox Portable (stuck at v1.5.x). I would think if such a version could get it, then there shouldn't be a reason that a Windows platform portable version couldn't get it. A time-out error is most likely due to the connection, not the browser; I have had WebUI go down on me, though it may be part of a larger network failure. Anyway, if you are sure they aren't blocking anything, try the default browser on the school computers. I don't believe Safari or IE6 work, but many schools have started to install Firefox themselves; Perhaps you can convince them to at your school. Good luck.
