slayers
I believe this is something very particular to your system, many users successfully use uTorrent with WinXP SP2 home and the TCP patch.Did you try out other bittorrent clients, do they work on your system? What do you mean by uTorrent crashes? Does it freeze, disconnect the internet, close altogether? How many global connections do you have allowed? Try reducing them. Do you suspect your TCP stack or winsock might be corrupted? It's a last resort but you can try reseting them.
dorianstgt
all other clients are working well. "crash" means utorrent freezes and gives the message for sending an err-dump. but it can't because it freezes immediately. anyway, i deactivated web-protect, the firewall by avm-fritz and then rebooted. now µtorrent seems to work at least the past 3 hours. there is definetly a relation between fritz webprotect and µ-torrent chrash. maybe the developers are able to find that out, because normally web-protect is a very effective and useful piece of software. thanks for help. vurlix
The fritz firewall service is known to make utorrent crash. Cause unknown at this time.
