running and saving files on pen drive

Hi,

Is it alright to run and save files on a pen drive?

I download from cyber cafes and it is easier to run uTorrent from pen drive. I am thinking of saving the files I download directly to my 2 GB pendrive.

Is it advisable?

Also, I am currently downloading a file and it is automatically saved in a directory named "downloads progress". Is this right?

Will my downloads get corrupted if I download them directly to a removable flash drive like my 2 GB pen drive?

Can you recommend settings for pen drive?
